KEY PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHTS
Management and Quality in Education programme offers
- Practical knowledge, focused on the functioning of educational organisations;
- Maintains an international dimension;
- Complements learning with e-learning;
- Interactive teaching based on tutorials, webinars, discussion forums and online conferencing;
- Courses are delivered sequentially and are carried out monthly in 3-day blocks;
- Continuous assessment (assignments and an examination at the end of each unit).
Programme Overview
Management and Quality in Education is a 1-year master’s programme. Prospective applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and meet other requirements, which are outlined in detail in the annual prospectus for enrolment. The programme consists of three compulsory courses, three elective courses to be chosen from a range of elective courses, and a thesis. Courses are delivered sequentially, starting in October. Students can start writing their thesis in the second half of the academic year.

Learning supported by e-learning
E-learning enables the student to study anywhere and anytime. All courses are supported by an e-classroom, which holds all study materials, such as slides, texts and various multimedia materials. E-classroom also enables students to participate in forums and online lectures, communicate with lecturers and other students, submit assignments, test their knowledge with quizzes, study independently, etc.

Career path
Graduates of the MQE programme are qualified to take on leadership and other senior roles in kindergartens, schools and higher education or elsewhere in the education system. They also gain knowledge that is required in commercial and non-profit organisations in education, knowledge and knowledge management sectors. They acquire competencies in management, quality, knowledge and learning.
